Nantong Hornby Electronic was established in December 1996 as the Hornby Group's third production plant in mainland China. It is the largest production base for semiconductor components of the Hornby Group.

After more than thirty years of development, the company is able to produce 6 billion semiconductor devices annually. Hornby has grown into a global semiconductor equipment supplier and service provider with R&D, products and services.
